PRI vs SIP: what's the difference?

PRI (Primary Rate Interface) is traditional ISDN voice trunking delivered over copper or fiber. SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) trunking is IP-based voice delivered over your data network. SIP is the modern standard, more flexible, easier to scale, often cheaper, but PRI still exists in legacy deployments. We can deploy either.

The carrier. Voice service uptime, call completion rates, and technical support are owned by TTBS, Sify, or Vodafone Idea. When you contract for PRI-SIP through us, the service contract is with the carrier. We're transparent about this so you can hold the right party accountable.
